This PDH is an online makerspace project created for students and teachers to learn how to design projects for our vinyl cutting machine in the Middle School and High School Makerspace. The PDH consists of a presentation with instructions and videos that teach how to create a design that works with our vinyl cutting machine. By creating a vinyl face mask design, teachers will gain an understanding of the design parameters, project length involved with vinyl cutting projects, and practice using the vinyl cutting machine. Learning how to design vinyl projects and use the machine will help teachers to encourage the use of our makerspace tools with students, and incorporate the vinyl cutting machine in their classroom.
To get started, watch the videos and follow the instructions outlined in the Google Slides presentation. When finished with your design, submit it to the Google Form located at the end of the presentation and set up a time with Greta to finish your project in the Makerspace.
