This PDH is an online course for school district staff. It covers the basics of cybersecurity and focuses on the following key concepts:
- Understanding the key principles of information security
- Passwords
- Safeguarding information and information systems
- Identifying threats against information Systems
This is a self paced, online curriculum that needs to be completed by June 30th. To complete the course, there are four 5-10 minute videos, a review of key takeaways, and a quiz. You must pass the quiz to earn a certificate for 1 PDH. If you don't pass the quiz the first 3 times, you can re-watch the videos and try again. After you pass the quiz, you can find your certificate in the left side menu, under "Reports and Tools."

Instead, click on the link below and log in with Google. On the left side menu, select Staff Courses > Cybersecurity. Click the red "Yet to Start" button to watch the videos and navigate through the lesson. After the lesson is complete, take the Cybersecurity quiz. When you pass the quiz, you will find your certificate in the left side menu. For PDH credit, send your certificate to pdh@amerysd.k12.wi.us.
