Description:
Explore new possibilities for integrating library and makerspace tools into your curriculum through a tailored professional development opportunity. This PD session offers teachers a chance to select a makerspace tool of their choice and work with Greta to set up a personalized plan to learn how to use the tool and create a project for their classroom. From laser engraving to virtual reality, vinyl cutting, robotics, and 3D printing, teachers can customize their learning experience to suit their classroom needs and discover innovative ways for students to demonstrate learning. Whether as an individual teacher or a department, contact Greta McCarty to discuss makerspace tool options and to develop a personalized plan for completing PDH hours. Based on the agreed-upon plan, each teacher can earn up to 6 hours of PD for each tool selected.
