This PDH is an online makerspace project created for students and teachers to learn how to design 3D objects with Tinkercad and use the 3d printing machines in the Middle School and High School Makerspace. It consists of a presentation with instructions and videos that teach how to design a 3D printed bookmark. Through this project, teachers will learn how to create designs that work with our 3D printers so they can encourage the use of our makerspace tools with students and incorporate 3D printing projects in their classroom.
To get started, watch the videos and follow the instructions outlined in the Google Slides presentation. When finished with your design, submit it to the Google Form located at the end of the presentation and set up a time with Greta to finish your project in the Makerspace/Library. When the project is complete, you will receive a Google Forms exit ticket in order to receive a PDH certificate. The certificate can be emailed to
pdh@amerysd.k12.wi.us to receive credit.
