PD Intro to Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)

Through PowerPoint lectures, videos, and quotes from those with lived experience, this webinar will explore the core characteristics of PDA, what constitutes a demand, and the socially based approaches used to avoid everyday demands. This webinar will briefly touch on the history and the current criticism of PDA. As a group, we will discuss and determine how to apply the knowledge learned from the webinar to our caseloads and students. We will meet together to watch the webinar.  During and after the webinar we will use the time to discuss PDA as well as approaches we can use and strategies that could be developed.
