Description:
Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges. The course is designed for adults who regularly interact with adolescents (teachers, school staff, coaches, parents, etc.). This professional development course equips staff with the skills to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges in adolescents.
Several free, virtual sessions will be available throughout the summer, allowing staff to choose the offering that best fits their schedule. Staff will receive a certification at the end of the course.
