The IEP (Individualized Education Program) process can be confusing and overwhelming. These 20–40 minute modules break down what you need to know about the IEP process as it relates to Federal and Wisconsin-specific regulations. Topics covered include:
1. Starting the IEP Process: Special Education Basics
2. The Special education Referral Process
3. Evaluation & Eligibility in the IEP Process
4. Reevaluation & Independent Educational Evaluations
5. Writing the IEP (Part 1)
6. Writing the IEP (Part 2)
7. Writing the IEP (Part 3)
8. Writing the IEP (Part 4)
9. IEP Revisions & Extended School Year
10. Parent Rights in the IEP Process
11. Useful Resources in the IEP Process
After watching all 11 modules, you will be asked to complete a Google form in response to the IEP Mini-Modules.
DO NOT register for this course on this site. Instead, please do the following:
1. Click here to watch all 11 Mini Modules (about 20-30 minutes per module).
2. Complete this Google Form quiz.
3. After completing the quiz, email your quiz completion confirmation to pdh@amerysd.k12.wi.us for your PDH credit.
