Decreasing Pain by Treating the Fascia in Our Body
Are you battling pain, are you overcoming an injury, do you have limited mobility? This 2-night class may help!!!
This 2-night class will help you understand fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds our muscles and organs. Trauma, inflammation and even poor posture can put abnormal pressure on nerves and muscles, causing chronic pain, impeding motion, and decreasing circulation.
Learn about fascia, where it is in our bodies, what affects it, and its importance to our overall health and mobility. You will also learn about myofascial release therapy. Class will include instruction and practice on how to treat fascia at home, and direct treatment of fascia in class, if you choose. All participants will go home with a therapy ball for at-home use,
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a blanket/yoga mat. Accommodations will be made for those with mobility issues.

Jennifer began her career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and then obtained her master's degree to become an Occupational Therapist Registered. She is also Myofascial Release Therapy Certified, expert level, and hopes to make a difference in people's lives.
