Gotta Dance!!

For grades 4K-5

Gotta Dance is a fun after school and evening event where girls & boys in grades 4K-5 have the opportunity to experience the fun and rewards of learning a dance routine and then performing for family and friends at halftime of a Girls Varsity Basketball game.
Young dancers will spend two hours after school with members of the Amery High School Dance Team who will teach them a fun, high-energy routine. Parents will pick them up and then return to perform at halftime.
Dancers should wear clean, dry shoes with smooth soles - no flip flops. Dress in layers. Bring a water bottle.
WHO: Girls and Boys in grades 4K-5
DATE: Tuesday, February 11
PRACTICE: After school until 5 pm in the Amery High School Auditorium

Elementary students will gather in the cafeteria after school and dance team members will meet them and walk them over to the high school.
Intermediate students should ride their regular bus to the Elementary where they will get off and meet the others in the Elementary cafeteria. If a student does not ride a regular bus, he/she should get on the final bus in the Intermediate lineup to get to the Elementary School. Dance team members will walk them over to the high school.

PERFORMANCE: Return to the High School by 7:15 pm to perform at halftime
FEE: $30 – includes dance instruction and an after-school snack. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations received after February 3.
Pre-register through Amery Community Education by February 3.
