Does your child dream of having their own YouTube channel? Ease your concerns with our comprehensive class designed to guide parents through the process. We’ll cover everything from setting up a YouTube channel and configuring safety settings to considerations specific to kids, teens and young adults. Learn the basic guidelines to help manage and monitor your child's activity while incorporating practical business skills for managing a channel. Discover how this hobby can evolve into a practical career, explore safety practices, and create fun videos together! Parents will leave with a solid foundation and helpful guidelines to safely kickstart their child’s new creative outlet in 2023. Please note, children must be age 13 and have parental permission to start a YouTube channel.
Benefits for the Participant:
Participants will gain clarity on what is involved for creating a YouTube channel for their child (and be able to see if it's the correct decision for their family). The students will also leave with an easy-to-follow game plan for the correct steps to set up and manage their channel effectively and keep up safety standards as well as business practices.
This class is taught live online. If you are unable to attend the live online training time, you can still register and the recording will be sent to you to watch at your convenience. Follow-up support from the instructor is also included and participants are encouraged to reach out with questions at any time before or after the class has concluded. Nickie will be with you every step of the way to answer your questions, walk through real-world examples, and help you with today’s ever-changing technology connections.
