Herbal First Aid Kit

Join Clinical Herbalist Lisa Kofakis, M.H., for a 2-hour engaging presentation on herbs for first aid, and discover which medicinal plants Lisa always has on hand in her own first aid kit. We'll discuss plant identification, medicinal benefits, and how to make your own salves, oils, and liniments. Each participant will be able to take home their own Aloe Vera plant.

Lisa is a Master Herbalist at Silver Creek Herbals in Turtle Lake. She offers Herbal Consultations through her clinical practice with both in-person and video visits, working with clients to form natural health care plans based on plant & natural medicine. Lisa creates custom herbal blends and hosts plant identification walks & teaches classes on herbs for health. She also handcrafts oils, balms and herbal remedies made from plants grown and harvested on her farm. Silver Creek Herbals is located just East of Turtle Lake on Hwy 8, where you'll find Lisa's handcrafted herbal products. The Healing Room™, located within Silver Creek Herbals, offers many modalities of healing, including massage therapy, Reiki, energy healing and readings.
